Social Media Account Manager

Patio is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Account Manager with outstanding interpersonal and client management skills and experience in developing high-performing and creative integrated campaigns and a LOVE for all things social media. This role will specialize in both client account management, as well as developing and implementing social media marketing programs.

As the ideal candidate, you are a multi-disciplinary digital marketer, with a strong working knowledge of numerous digital channels and a unique love for social media channel management and content creation (supported by our content dev team of course). You aren’t an analyst necessarily, but you have a strong analytics background, and naturally plan and make decisions based on data. At the same time, you look for opportunities to dive deep into customer needs and develop customer empathy using qualitative, not just quantitative, methods. You delight at the opportunity to create world-class awareness and demand generation programs from the ground up. This position will report to the Director of Digital Accounts.


  • Work in partnership with clients to maintain communication, understand client stresses and needs and build a strong working relationship

  • Manage the overall creation and execution of campaigns to ensure they are on budget, on time and on target and report any overspend

  • Brief and oversee the work of internal and external copywriters, designers, animators and printers, who may assist with campaign activity

  • Devise social media strategies and integrated marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers in order to meet clients’ goals from brand awareness to sales

  • Collaborate and brainstorm with internal teams to craft media plans aligned with client objectives and budgets

  • Devises strategies, tactical outlines, campaign content and digital assets for all channels

  • Write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within marketing campaigns (including social media posts, digital ad copy, website copy, etc.)

  • Ensure consistent branding for all campaign and content pieces

  • Laisse between customer/public and clients to create on-brand communication

  • Manage relationships with brand influencers

  • Manage Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn advertising campaigns

  • Keep abreast of current trends in marketing and provide clients with insight based on social media trends, news, and standers

  • Track, measure and report on the campaign performance against agreed-upon metrics, analyze gaps and actions plans to course-correct as the campaign execution unfolds

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment, across different time zones

  • Perform other duties assigned


  • Knock-out writing skills and a passion for creative marketing writing

  • Must have a good understanding of digital media trends, policies, contesting, and advertising

  • Excellent communication skills; present yourself professionally to all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work independently, as well as work with a remote team of rockstars

  • Hyper-organized and deadline-driven

  • Collaborative and positive attitude

  • Possess a willingness to learn new skills

  • Demonstrated solid listening, information gathering, and empathy skills for uncovering and defining deliverables, needs, and outcomes


  • Bachelor Degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism or similar field required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience creating marketing campaigns or writing marketing content, preferably at an agency

  • Experience with managing, optimizing and reporting social media advertising campaigns

  • Experience in digital advertising

  • Experience in social media channel management, including monitoring and responding to all types of queries 

  • Strong media planning and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach

  • Willing to learn new technologies

  • Enjoys working in a fast pace environment
